The Mt. Evans Angel ornament is a special way to remember or recognize family and friends. The Angel Project began in 1993 as a special way to remember or honor loved ones during the holiday season. Each year a special group of volunteers known as the "Angel Makers" gathers in a quilting-bee-like atmosphere to lovingly handcraft these unique works of art.

The completed angels are then given to those who make a donation of $25 or more in honor or memory of a loved one. The donors names, and the names of the people they are honoring or remembering, are placed in this online Book of Angels or on one of our Trees of Angels, several of which are located around town in Evergreen (call 303-674-6400 for locations).
The donor can keep the angel as a memento, or request that the angel be sent to another person as a gift. These angels are a charming way to honor your loved ones, friend, and neighbors, and serve as a visible reminder of the people who have touched our lives.
Trees of Angels
The public is invited to view three Trees of Angels on display during the month of December at Mt. Evans, Buchanan Recreation Center and The Watermark (Bergen Park).
By remembering the "Angels" in your life, you are helping Mt. Evans continue to provide comfort and expert medical care to mountain-area patients and their families.
